- AI chat messages — messages you send to the Daktari Kinywa assistant.

- Appointment information — details entered when booking a clinic or dentist.
- App usage data — general information about how you use the App, such as screens visited and features used.
- Device information — device type and operating system, collected automatically.
We do not collect payment information, precise GPS location, or access your contacts.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Deliver the App's features, including the AI dental health assistant.
- Show you content and clinics relevant to your location.
- Send push notifications about news, events, and appointments.
- Improve the App's performance and content.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the App. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

5. AI Chat Disclaimer
⚠ Important: The Daktari Kinywa AI assistant provides general dental health information only. It is not a substitute for professional dental or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified, licensed dentist with any questions about your dental health. Never delay seeking professional care because of something Daktari Kinywa told you.
Messages you send to Daktari Kinywa are processed by AI to generate responses. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal health details beyond what is necessary to ask your question.
6. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and server-side security rules to protect your information.
When you delete your account, your personal data and chat history are deleted from our systems. Some anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.
7. Your Rights
You can, at any time:
- View and update your profile information within the App.
- Delete your account and all associated data from the App's settings. Deletion is permanent.
- Disable push notifications via your device settings or within the App.
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us at the email below.
8. Children's Privacy
Kinywa Salama is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, please contact us and we will delete the information promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after any update means you accept the revised policy.
